How we deliver it
In winter, temporary heat and moisture readings decide when taping can start, so joints dry properly and don’t crack.
Joints are taped, coated and sanded to the specified level.
Walls are checked under a work light held at a low angle, which shows flaws that paint would reveal.
Common questions
What is a Level 5 finish?
The highest drywall finish. After the joints are taped and coated (Level 4), a thin skim coat goes over the entire surface. It is recommended where strong side light, such as from large windows, or gloss paint would show joints and texture differences.
Can you tape in winter?
Yes, with the right conditions. Joint compound needs warmth and controlled humidity to cure. Temporary heat and moisture readings govern when taping starts on each floor.
