Who we are
Cosmos Infra Ltd. (“Cosmos”, “we”) is an interior construction contractor based at 338 Keewatin St, Winnipeg, Manitoba. This policy explains what personal information we collect through cosmosinfra.ca, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:
- Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, and the scope, project type, timeline and details you enter.
- Tender invitations: your company, name, email, phone, project details, bid date, links to tender documents and any files you attach.
- Job applications: your name, phone, email, where you live, the role, your experience, travel preferences, tickets and certifications, your résumé if you attach one, and anything else you write.
When you send a form, our server also records your IP address and the time, so we can block spam and repeated automated submissions. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. It stores one small setting in your browser for the current visit only, so the opening animation does not replay on every page. Closing the browser clears it.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote or price a tender.
- To consider you for work with Cosmos, and to contact you about it.
- To keep records of our work as the law and our insurers require.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
Who sees it
The Cosmos staff who handle your enquiry or application. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for marketing.
We use service providers to run the site and our email: our web host and our email provider. They store information on our behalf and may keep it on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote and tender information is kept for as long as we need it for the enquiry, the project and our business records. Job applications are kept for 12 months so we can contact you about future openings, then deleted, unless you ask us to remove yours sooner.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form backups are stored outside the public website, and access to our email and hosting accounts is limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information such as social insurance numbers or banking details through the forms.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact our Privacy Officer at info@cosmosinfra.ca or (431) 777-8245. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date below.
